New Officer Training at MAPE

October 01, 2009

Thursday, October 15, MAPE is opening its New Officer Workshop to members who would like to learn more about being an officer.  A full leadership team is vital for an informed, engaged local.  However, there are currently 21 vacant leadership positions among MAPE’s 38 locals.  By inviting, informing, and inspiring potential officers, we hope to develop a stronger connection between more and less active members, and engage a new general of MAPE leaders.

If you are interested in applying your knowledge and skills to being a local officer, please join us October 15.  We will be reviewing officer responsibilities, the basics of engaging your membership, and creating a statewide leadership support network.

Where:

MAPE Office

3460 Lexington Avenue

Shoreview, MN 55126

When:

                Thursday, October 15

                9:00 am – 4:00 pm

RSVP to Kelly Russell (krussell@mape.org) by Thursday, October 8th.

If you will require overnight accommodations for Wednesday and/or Thursday night, please include that request in your RSVP.
